Created by Evolution Robotics, Inc., Mint, an automatic floor cleaner specifically designed for hard surface floor cleaning is a great hands-free home appliance that I've reviewed.

Made to lessen the housework load, the Mint floor cleaner is lightweight, coming in at a mere 4 pounds, compact in at less than 10 inches wide and is super-efficient.  It comes equipped with a NorthStar Navigation System (GPS if you will) that allows the device to map out the room to ensure thorough cleaning.

Here’s how it work:

By simply supplying the device with either the microfiber cloth or Swiffer/Pledge dry sheet to sweep (or a wet Swiffer/Pledge sheet to mop), turning it on and walking away, you really can’t get any simpler than that. The square shape of the Mint cleans into corners, covers edges easily, under furniture and hard to reach areas.

What I absolutely loved was that it is super quiet (I usually turn it on right before going to bed and my dogs are not bothered by it), is able to clean up to 3 hours on a single charge and is low maintenance.  There are no filters or bins to replace or clean out, just simply replace the Swiffer sheet and you’re done.
