About Dutch Wonderland

In 1963 the Clark family of Lancaster, PA, founded Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park. With just 18 acres and 4 rides it quickly became a welcome destination for family fun. Over the years Dutch Wonderland has grown to 48 acres and over 30 rides, special shows and attractions, and related properties including Old Mill Stream Campground, Wonderland Mini-Golf, and The Gift House at Kitchen Kettle Village.

Purchased in 2001 by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, which owns and operates Hersheypark, Dutch Wonderland continues to enjoy a metamorphosis of growth and change, while keeping the unique charm and family focus established by the Clarks. For example, you can still milk Bossie the Cow, or ring a school bell, and visit with real live farm animals. Lots of fun new interactive attractions are also here to stay, like Duke’s Lagoon water play area, The Adventures of the Frog Prince fairytale high dive show, special events throughout the season, storytime with the Princess of Dutch Wonderland, and Wonderland Mini-Golf.

Bordered by Old Mill Stream Creek and Amish farmland, Dutch Wonderland Family Entertainment Complex provides a unique place for families to have fun while enjoying all the sight-seeing, shopping, and timeless beauty of Lancaster’s Amish country. Plus, Hershey, PA, the sweetest place on earth, is just 30 minutes away.

The mission of Dutch Wonderland is to provide high-quality family experiences, based in the Hershey Tradition, that exceed the expectations of its visitors and guests and which ultimately generate positive stories and create lifelong memories. Read their mission statement
