Sesame Street Gardening Products Available Exclusively at Lowe’s
Do your children help you in the garden?
Want them to get involved in planting and growing their own food?
Well now, Sesame Street seeds and gardening items exclusively are available at Lowe’s through an exclusive relationship between Sesame Workshop and Ferry Morse.
The Sesame Street characters will be seen on packets of watermelon, pepper, sunflower, pumpkin, garden beans and tomato seeds, for parents and children to plant together. The line will also feature a Sesame Street-themed gardening tote complete with an activity booklet, seeds, tools, labeling stakes and stickers, a mini garden kit and a mini greenhouse with recipe card.
In tune with their My World is Green and Growing project created to support children’s curiosity regarding nature, each product will include educational materials that will teach children the basics of how fruits and vegetables begin with seeds and grow to become food for the table. This project compliments their ongoing Healthy Habits for Life movement; Sesame Street is helping children develop healthy lifestyles through simple and fun daily activities. Parents and children will be able to enjoy their time together outdoors with materials, which include a booklet with activities for children, planting tips for parents and healthy recipes.
