Review: MEGA Bloks Domino Build Game

As a mom to a 2-year-old who loves to build and stack things, I often have a hard time finding interactive games for his age.  Most games are for older kids and those that are age appropriate are often (at least I feel) very limiting. With that said, I was very happy to get the opportunity to review Mega Bloks Domino Build game.   As a mom to a Mega Bloks fan, I wanted to see how he handled the Domino Build Game.

Here’s the gist of the game.

First, you play your cards by matching colors and animals.  If you make a match, you win a block for the zoo animal of your choosing. After obtaining all of the pieces for your animal, you win.

Although my son didn’t grasp the concept of the game he enjoyed matching the colors and animals.  I feel this game was just right for him to get started puzzles, recognizing different animals, shapes as well as helping him fine-tune his motor and hand-eye coordination skills.

The Mega Bloks Domino Build Game retails approximately for $10.99 and is available at several retailers including Amazon.com.

To get more out of Mega Bloks, be sure to join the Mega Bloks Family Club.  There, you’ll have access to printable coupons ($5 off a $30 purchase), exclusive offers, contests, sweepstakes, promotions and much more.

You’ll also receive information on new Mega Bloks toys for children ages 1-6, an email newsletter and access to Mega Bloks educational and informative blog lead by a panel of mom bloggers.
