As I get ready to send my almost four-year-old to school four-year-olds, I figured there is no better time than the present to begin resetting the daily routines that I let go by the wayside at the end of June.  With my little guy spending the better part of the summer visiting parks, zoos, beaches and simply being a kid that I know for a fact that he has probably forgotten some of what he learned the previous school year.

So, with that, it is time to get my little visual learner back on the saddle by implementing my own homeschool approach using Verizon FiOS' high-speed connection as my Assistant to use technology to expose him tools and resources that he will be utilizing at school.

As a huge proponent of using technology as a key addition to teaching, I have decided to use the incredible Internet speed of our current Verizon FiOS Ultimate HD package's super reliable service to facilitate his learning experience.

With the fastest upload speeds, I don't have to worry about experiencing any interruption while keeping my little guy's attention in tact.  Plus by being simply connecting my laptop to my tv, I am able to have my very own projector or smart board (of sorts) and read stories, show interactive videos, provide my son with a different method of learning.

I feel learning in this day should not be limited nor feared.  Technology, in my opinion, should be embraced and used effectively in order for our children reap the rewards and obtain the best experience out of their digital journey.

Raising children in this digital age means providing them with accurate, reliable information, so why not be equipped with the service and tools that will guarantee just that.
