Review: Blink DIY Home Monitoring System
As homeowners with small children, keeping an eye on our home, and our family safe is our top priority. And having a reliable, simple, affordable, and wireless monitoring system we can rely on is what we and others want and need.
Recently, I received the home security and video monitoring system called Blink to set up around my home and test. It is a battery-powered home system with motion, low light illumination, and temperature sensors which provide HD quality video and sends alerts to my smartphone whenever motion is detected.
For me, this self-install security system was incredibly easy to setup and use. There were no screws, wires or cables that need to run through my home.
Just plug in the hub, download the Blink app onto your iOS or Android device, follow the step-by-step instructions to connect each camera. And to get the system up and running, add in the serial number on the back of each camera.
For installation, it’s even easier.
Each camera has to be within range of your WiFi and the hub. Once you know where you want them, just add the double-sided sticky material to the back and place them. Cameras can also be adjusted with the hinge arm to get the perfect angle.
Keeping your family safe and having peace of mind doesn't have to cost you a fortune. Blink systems start at just $99, and cloud storage is free, and what’s even better is there are NO monthly fees!
Disclosure: I received Blink wireless home security to review. Opinions are 100% my own.
