This past weekend my family and I got the chance to attend The Big Apple Circus, and had a great time!
One of the best things about The Big Apple Circus is the big tent experience, it's intimate and just perfect for young kids.
This is my little guy’s first time at the circus and he was in absolute awe and I haven’t been to the circus since I was in elementary school so the timing couldn’t have been more perfect as after 25 years of performing at The Big Apple Circus Grandma the Clown is taking off the makeup and hanging up those clown shoes on last time.
But before Grandma says goodbye, The Big Apple Circus brings the amazingly talented Shangdong Acrobatic Troupe; Anna Volodko performing mesmerizing stunts on the aerial rope; the Flying Cortes Trapeze Act; and my little guy’s favorite Jenny Vidbel presenting beautiful Arabian horses, dogs including the world’s largest rodent.
So if you are looking to take your family to the circus before Grandma bids adieu, the show will be in town until January 8th, 2012 so get your tickets soon!
